Puno eh?! Nearly finished our 2nd country of the trip! Crazy!

It's bloomin cold here - we are at 3820m above sea level and right by Lake Titicaca - we both have rattley chests and colds - poo.

We have obviously been completely spoiled by Cuzco, cos it feels like a bit of a s*** hole here - ahh well. The scenary is amazing tho - we were treated to a spectacular moonrise on the bus ride in the night before last - that is what the strange ufo like yellow blob is in the pics - it was spectacular in real life!

Colin's friend is a kangeroo WITH a joey - this was the unique selling point that the 8 year old street vendor in Cuzco highlighted to us. This kid was unique - he had fantastic english and kept saying he was working on commission! He won us over, and despite being pestered by millions of other similar street sellers we decided to purchase this bloody finger puppet from him! Finger puppets - I ask you?! They were all selling finger puppets!!!!! Why you would want a finger puppet when you are walking home, freezing cold, pissed as a fart, from a club i don't know - but they obviously think there's a niche in the market!

Anyway, we are staying at a nice hotel - yup, with cable tv - we know all the football scores - hooray United (andy) and hooray Liverpool (come on you scousers!!! (soph)) - we watch more bloody football here than at home!!!!

Off to explore the lake tomorrow - which is covered in a thick layer of green algae - the ducks can walk on it without sinking!!! - weird. Hopefully it will be abit clearer as we venture out in the boat. Will give a full report when we get back.

Off to dose up on cold relief and put our woolley hats on - damn you and your 20 degree heat!
