We headed into Jurien Bay and found the Top Tourist Park...10% off! boo ya! We were lucky to get in as the "Blessing" festival was on the next night.
Our site was across from a lovely family who were up from Subiaco in Perth. They were really nice and we had some great chats with them.
The day of the festival was awesome! There were lots of stalls and many games to play. We spent most of our time on the grass infront of the theatre where there was lots of entertainment. It was near the bar too...so we sat in the sun, enjoyed some beverages and watched karate demos and lots of bands play. It was great!
After some dinner back at the van, we headed down to the beach to watch the fireworks. They were some of the best fireworks we have ever seen! The show went on for about 10 mins and they were so close as they were set off from the jetty. It began pouring with rain as the fireworks began and it got really cold!! But luckily the fireworks were so good that it didn't matter!
Jurien Bay itself was a lovely little town with everything that you needed. You could walk to all the shops, the beach and jetty from the caravan park and there was a good walking track along the beach where you could watch the sky divers from!
