Here are the two old codgers from Sussex once again-a bit older and a bit rustier due to all the wet weather we have been having lately but hurrah today the sun is shining. Many thanks for cards No. 2 and 3 which arrived today. Managing to keep up with all your messages and the photos of the Andes were wonderful. One complaint though who ARE those two people who seem to appear on every other photo- there must be other people out there.
We are all fine. Catherine and S.came for an overnight stay which was lovely.
Great week-end for sport on TV (know you are interested Andrew) Hamilton came third at the Grand Prix at Silverstone, Murrays brother won the mixed doubles at Wimbledon and 4 million people turned out in London and Kent to see stage one of the Tour de France.
The powers that be have heard you visited the Christ the Redeemer in Rio and have proclaimed it one of the seven wonders of the world.
Keep on enjoying youselves but keep and keep safe. With much love Gran and Grandpa.

Lots of love David and Jade xxxx

G'Day and hello from exceptionally sunny Manchester. Gorgeous day - at least 15 degrees.
Good to see that you are having fun though how you can be bothered to label all those pics is beyond me. Keep it up however because it helps my day pass by, though it does make me feel very jealous.
Given my notice at work so leaving Manchester soon - by end of July I hope and will moving to Leeds and, for a month or so at least, living in the house-of-fun when Jo, Luce and the Notorious VIC live now. Ta for asking how work was though!
But I'll leave you to get on and have fun wherever you are off to next. I am playing footy at Powerleague tonight so beat that.

Hi Both
Still looks fantastic & the food sounds great. Sun is finally shining here....summer has arrived yippeee!!!! Went to Doris's 70th birthday party yesterday, saw your Mum and Dad and about a hundred trillion million relatives (OK slight lie - about 100 people there in total!) and the sun shone and it was a very enjoyable time. Shame was I'd talked Dave into driving home so I could drink as it was my birthday too and it wasn't the sort of party where you had a chance of getting drunk........came home and opened bottle of red which spookily I think was from Argentina but not called Hereford.......weird!
Take care and keep on enjoying yourselves.....like your gonna not do that!

Hello both of you,
Really enjoyed recent photos, you both look so happy and thoroughly enjoying yourselves. Lucky people!
As everyone has told you it is still raining here-yuk. Katie is very excited-off to Tenerife at 4 am tomorrow with 6 of her friends. I pity anyone who has the apartment next door to them!!
James is on his weeks work experience and is working for a local building company-he has bumped out bricks all day- he now knows he doesn't want to be a bricklayer!
We have a new puppy, she's beautiful. She 10 weeks old and is a border terrier and she's called Fidget!! So far we have lost 1 computer cable, and the cats will only come in through the bedroom windows! But she's very cute.
Anyway keep the news coming through. Thanks for the card. Take care, love to you both
