Tonight we took advantage of our free rugby tickets and went to Eden Park to go and watch an Air New Zealand Cup game, Auckland Vs Tasman.

We free transport from our old hostel so we could have a few beers during the game!! It was an ok game, Auckland were quite alot better than Tasman which was reflected in the final score, Auckland 49 Tasman 7!! The stadium was only about half full, we think this may of had something to do with the fact that the All Blacks were playing not long after the game finished.

We were sat in the terraces which was cool, we were lucky it didn't rain since we were completely uncovered! Most of the first half action took place down our side of the pitch which was good, although in the second half it was quite hard to see what was going on as the game was being played predominantly down the other end of the pitch! Sarah's highlight was catching a free mini rugby ball that was thrown out before the game had kicked off!!

We had a great evening all the better that the tickets were free!! Off down south tomorrow, lots to see!! Keep in touch A&S xxx
