We're not big fans of zoos but I must admit that we were glad we didn't miss this one.
The Australia Zoo, " home of the crocodile hunter" - Steve Irwin
The people that run this zoo are passionate about their work and the care that the animals receive shows at every turn. The zoo is huge, the animals live for the must part in their natural environment and education of the public in the care and preservation of each species is impressive. The legend of Steve Irwin continues through his wife, daughter and son. If you ever get a chance to visit this zoo, do so, you won't regret it.
We even got to cuddle a Koala ...
