We have arrived in Stellenbosch on 16th March after a week in Cape Town which has, among other delights, the national Gardens at Kirstenbosch. We've made two visits. One to enjoy an open air concert given by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and secondly to enjoy the gardens for the best part of a day before we left for Stellenbosch.

We are now in Cape Town. In Namibia we used a vehicle similar to the one in the photo. This week we are continuing to explore the wonders of the Cape.

NAMIBIA 16th Feb - 7th March On our way to Etosha, we camped at Waterberg and climbed to the top of the plateau. The climb was steep and hot, and near the top we had our first encounter with Rock Hyraxes - on this occasion just their smell, it would be much later when we would actually see any.
