So today I waved goodbye to cairns and hello to the chilly melbourne!

Unfortunately I never really felt bright enough to do much else in cairns. Though Jo and I had a double strike of luck at gilligans with her winning the wet t shirt competition and me the jelly wrestling towards the end of my time! I just spent my last few days soaking up the last of the sun and arranging a few details for new zealand. I went along with Jo to her free bungee jump (which has now made me even more scared about mine as its a third of the height as the one I'm going to do!) and spent more time badgering my travel agent to get money off them who I still haven't heard back from..... With the odd night out thrown in there too (Mexican night at Woolshed probably a favourite!)

I was up in the early hours this morning for my flight back down to Melbourne to surprise Chris. I had it all organised with Casey who picked me up at the airport and I was even treated to KFC on the way home.... Luxury!!!! Despite Chris mistaking me for a younger version of Casey's mum I think he was surprised!! I've got the next few days here with them + kiddies before heading out to New Zealand on the 27th may (Monday). Until then I think I need to make the most of an entire room all to my myself!! Even if it is 15 degrees colder here.... Amy x
