Chang Mai has been fun - I went on an elephant trek in the jungle, my elephant was the youngest and was really naughty, it ignored everything the trainer told it to do and sucked up a load of sloppy mud and blew it all over me. I was covered head to toe in mud which everyone found hilarious! I met Harry and Suzanne white water rafting, that was amazing, I was laughing so much I kept swallowing the water (which was dark brown). A guy in our group slipped on the bamboo raft and split his lip open and broke his leg :0S

OH MY GOD - I LOVE reggae music!! I've met so many hippies. Yesterday I met Will, this massive Rastafarian man with dreds and he was teaching me how to dance properly. It was so funny. We went to a place called Pai a couple of days ago which is a little hippy town with hardly any backpackers. It's by far my favorite place so far - slept in hammocks and drank whiskey and coke. We hired mopeds and drove to some hot springs (the water was hotter than a bath!) then went to a beautiful waterfall. I didn't want to get on a moped at first because the roads are so dodgy but Pai is deserted and after a few hours of sitting in a bar alone I decided what the hell. It was wicked! I was like a granny at first but after I got used to it I was whizzing around all over the place, the view's were just un describable- I felt so empowered!

On Friday I am going to fly to Laos to go tubing. There's a group of 10 of us going together so should be really good. It's so weird how quickly you make friends here, one minute you on a bus alone then you get chatting to the person next to you, then that night your all sharing a bed! I haven't quite come to terms yet with the whole communal water bottle and all eating off one fork. They all think I'm a freak. I dont care though, I dont want to drink some random person's backwash!
