Yesterday I did two things I never thought I would ever do:
1) Got a foot massage - It started off fine, I normally hate anyone touching my feet but Gemma had been banging on about how great it was so I decided to give it a go. All started fine, I was sat up on a bed with my feet on a bowl of warm water then next thing I know I was being thrown around the bed and bent into positions I didnt think was humanly possible! Gemma had this really nice petite woman massaging her shoulders and I got Big Mumma! At one point she had me lying on my belly with my legs bend back over my head and she was sat on my legs then just as I thought it really couldnt get any worse she started pulling my arms back like she was on a ride, I came out of the place feeling like I'd been abused!
2) Went to a Ping Pong show - We met Leighton yesterday afternoon and some how ended up down some dodgy road. I really didnt fancy it but didnt want to be a partypooper so thought I'd have a look. OH MY GOD. That's all I will say - It was horrific! After about 10 mins we wanted to leave, as we walked out an paid our 2 pound, the people there handed us a bill for 65 quid! Apparently everything you raise your glass your buying one the women a drink, we obviously said there was so way we were paying all that and started to walk out then they all crowded around us and pretended to call the Thai Mafia?? They wouldnt lety us out and tried to lock the doors, we ended up giving them 10 pound each and tried to run out but Leighton got punched in the face and this bouncer man chased us down the road! Never again.
On the whole, Bangkok has been better than HongKong. It's so much cheaper and theres loads more backpackers but I'm looking forward to going to Chang Mai tomorrow!

Dad Hello my love, trust you guys to stumble into a "clip joint", hey ho!nobody got hurt except jacks pride, thank god. The back streets are ok , but only when your with a local or an expat. I knew the heart strings would pull , its only natural although the hardest days will be when your low about something , as i said , highs and lows , too much time to think so remember you may never do this again and your moods will rub off on whoever your with so keep your chin up and keep busy. Oh! one other thing , if your not sure about what or where your going , SPEAK UP if your worried about it , voice your thoughts,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,All of you take care x love you , dad

Mate Maaaate! Loving the blog, only you could get yourself involved with the Thai Mafia...how unlucky, you obviously didn't rub the budha belly enough in HK but don't worry there'll be plenty more! Got this brilliant image of you being thrown round the room by Big Mumma, google translate says Mak Keinpo is too much...try it lol! Hope your having a fab time in Chang Mai! miss you lots xxxxxx
SG Murphy, Jeepers creepers, all those short foreigners need to know who they're messing with. Did the Thai Mafia know you had Slough connections...they are in DEEP trouble now. How did you not laugh when they were all squawking at at you?! Hopefully your sweat levels are now dropping, and I hope this message finds you well and enjoying your break, super duper jealous of your adventures. Except the Ping Pong, I could take or leave that one. Take care, SG xxxx
Rebecca Hi Amy, Based on the above stories I reckon you could publish a book by the time you have finnished your travels!!! Carry on enjoying it but make sure you look after yourself!!
