I'm Arusha now trying to do a little mini-ethnographic study to help for my final research plan before Tom gets here. I befriended a local tour guide (my first interview!) and he took me out to the local villages of the maasai! where the children called me mzungu over and over and thought I was hilarious. one child literally held in his laugh as a walked by and and busted out laughing after i pass...I guess I am a funny sight!! we also visited a village school and I met a little school girl who spoke fluent English! we practiced for a little ..i pointed to body parts and she new them all!! I was really impressed that she would work so hard! she liked to touch me face too! i i'm sure she thought i was pretty!!! haha I will be posting more here by friday to let you know how the research is going! and hopefully some photos if I can find a proper computer!! xx amy
