Day Eleven - Tanzania (Zanzibar)
After getting up for the millionth time I decided I really needed to shower! I'm so grateful they had hot showers! May have been salt water, but it was hot, just what I needed. The sad thing was, after I'd showered I was so exhausted I needed to lay down. I tried eating some breakfast , and managed to get down a piece of toast with avocado :) I was still feeling absolutely terrible but not as bad as yesterday. I guess fresh air helped, and moving around, so within the next half hour, I feeling so much better! We had to pack little 'day packs' for our 4 days in Zanzibar and we caught tuk tuks to the ferry!! It was so cool! The ferry over took about 2.5hrs, and stone town is pretty amazing. It's the first & probably only place where we can walk around alone & at dark! It's a safe place here. Julie, Rachel & I ended up getting some lunch at a local place then went in search of a spa! So as I'm writing this, I've already had an hour aromatherapy massage & am halfway through a luxurious foot & leg massage with a pedicure. It is EXACTLY what I needed! This much camping, I deserve an afternoon pampering :)

Heather Sorry, didn't realize I could 'rate' your blog......look out!!! So glad to hear you got pampered. Who would've thought??? I haven't looked at any pics yet. Will do that in a tick.....
Heather Oops, I didn't realize we were up to date. Will go look at pics now. I presume you're up to date with the flooding here in Qld???? I'm surrounded by water. Can't go anywhere. Pub bridge has been over again, and Moran's Gully is monstrous. Public hol today, so no support for Luke. Peter rang and said Glenore Grove flooding, so he won't probably get here tomoz either. Could be a very long weekend for me. Luke and I are home alone since Friday. We're both starting to go stir crazy. We've had 250ml of rain here (10 inches in our language). Can't remember getting that much rain before. Even 1974 floods we only got 8 inches. Unbelievable..... You take care.....
