I know it's been a while since my last blog, but now that I am getting settled in lovely Queenstown, I'll just update it once a week or so :) So you already know I got a job! It was finally time to go out and hand around resumes. We had been in Queenstown for 5 days and were running out of money fast. It's a bad season for jobs, as winter usually drives people away, but when the ski fields open in a few weeks, it usually gets a bit better. It was yet again, another late start to the morning. I don't mind sleeping in though, not when we haven't planned to do anything. We got up and went for a run, and almost died. I am a little unfit! But we will change that before I come home! Although after the run we defeated the purpose by having a $10 breakfast of bacon and eggs. It was so cold today! So this morning we had full intentions of getting up at 7.30am to go for a run. That didn't happen. It was mostly due to the fact that a girl in our room was up all night spewing & kept us up. When we did get up & out of bed, we were going to hand out resumes, but work hadn't sent the documents we need over, so we tried to go to places that aren't pubs/cafes. I also found out casinos over here have a minimum age of 20 to go in! I thought it would be okay...

I don't know what everyone did today, but I got to explore the alsolutley beautiful Queenstown. And yes, you should be jealous. It was amazing! It's not a massive, bustling city, but it's not a tiny little village either. It was just perfect.
