We went and had a look around Byward Market today. The market was established in 1826, and is actually one of Canada's oldest and largest public markets. It doesn't really look like most markets- it does have a few outside stalls but it is mostly individual stores. It was our last full day in Toronto today and I feel like we've done and seen everything we wanted to. We're ready to move on now. We went to the Bata Shoe Museum today which is just a little further on from the ROM. It is on 4 floors (although one was closed, which seems to be the case with most of the galleries/museums we've been to so far).
