Monday 1 February There was a crazy wind in the night. Doors and windows rattling. It's hard to imagine in the peace of day light. Sunday 31 January It's just a quiet day. The power is pretty much off all day. We turn the generator on a few times and Malcolm does some washing. We eat rice and stew for lunch and then go to the market for our weekly shop. Hannah works on contracts and things for tomorrow. I shower and go to bed early.

Friday 29 January I get up early so I can do washing and hang out the cloth. We leave before 7:30 so we can make visiting hours at the hospital. There is an discoloured puddle on the floor in the entrance which is very disconcerting. We switch babies bottle and hot water and leave. Thursday 28 January I try on my nearly dry, new second hand tops. The one I thought might be small is perfect and the one I thought big has small arms. We eat left over day care lunch for breakfast.
