Monday 28 December It's a lovely quiet day. We relax after breakfast and Malcolm goes and sits in the sun. Friday 25 December We are awakened by Malcolm's alarm. Too early. A mistake. I don't want leave my warm haven and fall back to sleep. Thursday 24 December The alarm doesn't go off. When Malcolm checks his phone it's dead and about 6:30am not the 5:30 am we were excepting.
