We decide to check out the beach. It's not too far to walk. The beach isn't very big and there are hotels and beach clubs with their beach chairs and umbrellas taking up most of the space. We find a space and sit down. I'm surprised it's not more beautiful! I guess with it's reputation I expected amazing. Not so much. Even though the temperature isn't that hot at 29°c it's sweltering in the sun. Not a nice experience with perspiration running down your face. We head back just before lunch time. The cool air conditioning is a relief. A shower is in order. We spend a quiet afternoon. In the evening after dinner mal goes for another beach walk and sees 3 weddings and super extravagant beach hotel/resorts.
