Sleeping better is so nice! We get up and I go put a load of washing on. I only have enough coins for 20min of dryer, but pretty much everything is dry! Just the jeans and some socks. We drive around whistler village. Looks very big and lavish. We decide not to go up to the top as it's expensive and we don't have the time to appreciate it. We spend most of the day driving through the country side. Lovely lakes and rivers and tree covered mountains. It's not all pretty though. There are bare mountains and expanses of dry brown fields. We stop at dead mans junction. A ghost town western ranch style. A little lady explains things to us in fast pressured speech. They are in the process of building a restaurant. We stop about 4pm in salmon arm. We get set up and head to the lake. There are beautiful homes on the shore front. We walk out along the pier. There is weekly music concerts on a grassy lawn. We stay for a bit then head back for dinner. It's luxury to have a shower two nights in a row after none for a week! I feel too clean!
