We sleep in and get up for breakfast. We get basic directions around and go for a walk to the main square and go to the cathedral. On the way back we look for markets but find none. We rest back at the hotel and lady asks us if we went to the cable car, we say no, but decide to go later. Malcolm sorts photos and I rest.
We go and get money exchanged in the black market; a much better rate. Then walk to the cable car, which is a great view of the city. The top is nicely developed with gardens, cascades, exercise areas and cafe. We take the scenic stairs down. There are the stations of the cross caked in wax. We walk back to hotel via the square, but see a richer nice section. Overall salta is probably the nicest city so far.
