We set up camp at Tobermorey Station! The station is beautiful, set up really nice and very tidy! When we first got there a gorgeous wolf hound cross came and greeted us! He is so similar to Brin, big and gentle with a beautiful face! We later found out his name is Cohan and he is deaf as a door knob. We left Alice Springs today, heading for Boulia, along the way we came across this giant termite mound!

We went to the annual Alice Springs Camel races today! I have never seen a camel run before, let alone with a jockey on its back! The jockey was bouncing around with every leap! They are an extremely odd looking, uncoordinated animal! The races were 400 metres and half an hour apart! We watched the four qualifying races and then the 'Camel Cup'. We have set up camp in Alice Springs! The weather has been so nice today! We are even sleeping with the window in the canvas open as its going to be a mild 10'c!!

The highway was still a bit wet from all the rain that has been around, Luke went a little too fast into the first puddle on the road we came across! The muddy water went up over the bonnet, up to the roof and in his window! Whoops! He slowed down for most of the rest!
