After getting back to the main island our bus transfer had already left so we ended up getting a taxi with 15 local fijians, us and our backpacks crammed in. The owner of the bus company said its his job that we weren't stranded so assured us it would be fine and pushed us in it! The journey was interesting, no air trapped in and on roads that were still being built but dont worry we were fine and even stopped at a caravan, their local services, for a cheap ice cream!! It was raining when we arrived but made it to our dorm and were so tired we showered and went to bed at 9 like the party animals we are! Feeling fresh we headed down to the beach the next morning and had a few hours in the sun to pose on a swing and palm tree on the beach! Then it rained the rest of the day and becasue we weren't eating (apart from tea and scones which was included at 3 pm) we distracted ourselves by playing snap and card games. After doing nothing all day we were ready to party again and after meeting a group who had been voluntering in fiji ended up having a big night after 2 bottles of wine! We still managed to avoid the tattoo artist who kept coming up to everyone to ask if we wanted anything though! Luckily another non hungover day and we chilled by the pool which was a nice change from sand everywhere and we found out it was the resort where celebrity love island was filmed!! Another 2 bus journeys and we were back at Nadi ready to fly to Auckland the following morning. We treated ourselevs and shared a pizza and some wedges at Smugglers Cove our last hostel in Fiji and got ready to say Goodbye to paradise after an amazing week!
