We awoke and checked out of the hotel and headed for a cheaper hostel where we gave in our passports and bags and headed off to get some brunch!! We found a lovely place near the market and enjoyed a western Sandwhich with a Vietnamese twist. Was yummy. After we had a snoop around the market which I brought myself a fake longchamp designer bag!! I then visited the local pharmacy and purchased some antibiotics for this finger infection as every cut on my body is showing signs of infection and I just want it all to be gone. After a quick Skype home mum and dad reassured me that the amoxicillin I had purchased was okay to take, this only cost £2!! Wish it did back home!!
We then chilled by the pool for the day and had an early dinner before getting ready to party as we met some friends from a previous hostel. There was a massive group of us and we headed for the local towns best bar -the why not bar?! It was a dive and offered unlimited drinks all night for 100,000 dong about £3.35 this seemed to good to be true. We had a brilliant night dancing and singing and playing drinking games. The police drove by and we all had to get inside and be quite but once they had gone we carried on. The town is very dangerous at night so we had to walk altogether. All 14 of us walked in a group keeping an eye out for the Vietnamese to jump out and try something. We stopped off at the only restaurant open where the lady cooked chips for us all. Her baby was up at this ridiculous hour and she happily passed it around of which a few of us were appalled with. I picked up the baby and took it to the father that sat doing nothing (like most Vietnamese men) and said it needed to rest away from youths under the influence, they were not phased and insisted that she was nocturnal, it was an upsetting sight.
In the morning we awoke knowing we had to check out by 11:59 and we were dead!! That alcohol was deadly and we all felt terrible. We later found out they make the alcohol themselves in a bath ewww so god knows what we consumed. We ate the buffet breakfast and got our things together and checked out. We left our bags in the lobby and went and collected the dress I had made for £7 which will do lovely for the one day event in Australia. We sat around talking about the night before and hopped in and out the pool, we had another early lunch/dinner and then grabbed some snacks as we prepared ourselves for the 14 hour bus journey ahead. The bus picked us up at 5pm and we headed to Nha trang. It wasn't that bad only the toilet stops that were holes in the ground and smelt awful and the fact half way through the night we had to swap buses but I managed to get a good sleep and read the majority of a book which kept me occupied.
Today we are in Nha trang and have showered and off to explore and probably chill on the beach we are still with the Irish couple which are hilarious to be around. We have planned another motorbike trip tomorrow to monkey island where we also get to visit mud baths, waterfalls and hot springs. So excited!!!!
The antibiotics are finally working which feels good!! Keep you all updated and grandad I have received your message and will let you know of a Skype time it's difficult being 6 hours apart but I will work something out.
Love to all xx
