Saturday 2nd October

Blue skies and free breakfast to be had. Amie is editing photos and sorting blog before, maybe, a bike ride to Town of 1770. Met Femke off the 10am greyhound and arranged our bike ride for the afternoon. Very chatty chap at the bike hire shop and Steve's mud guard had to be removed which delayed our departure but left enough time to see the sights, dolphins off the point and a large lizard (not Jimmy Durante "sitting at my goanna") and be sitting eating wedges and dips as the sun set. Ride back in the dark was a little scary, don't know how many roos or koalas we killed in our haste. Missed the free shuttle bus back but the lady at the bike shop gave us a lift back to our hostel. She was very friendly, I'm sure she would've invited us to her bbq if we'd said we were hungry.
