Saturday 2nd October Blue skies and free breakfast to be had. Amie is editing photos and sorting blog before, maybe, a bike ride to Town of 1770. Met Femke off the 10am greyhound and arranged our bike ride for the afternoon. Very chatty chap at the bike hire shop and Steve's mud guard had to be removed which delayed our departure but left enough time to see the sights, dolphins off the point and a large lizard (not Jimmy Durante "sitting at my goanna")...

Friday 1st October The journey to Agnes Waters & Town of 1770 from Airlie Beach took 10hours. Not the best way to travel but did get some sleep. The countryside has changed, we still have the mountains of the Great Dividing Range to our right as we travel down the coast but the trees now have more leaves and less fonds.
