Hi All,

After our last blog we went to KL, which was a very busy smelly city, we did the typical touristy things and got up at a rediculous our of the morning to get tickets to go up the petronas towers which were pretty amazing. We went to the Batu caves where we had to climb up 272 stairs to the top where there is a hindu temple.

After KL we flew to Kuantan on the east coast, and went to a small town called cherating! we didnt realise quite how small it was untill we got there, it was like a ghost town it had a stunning beach with no one on it and there was absolutely nothing to do, and we had an interesting run in with an oversized coackroach so we didnt stay very long. We caught the bus up to the Perhentian island which were the most amzing place i have ever been in my life. Gorgeous blue skys every day, beautiful white sand and the sea was just amazing hot as a bath and crystal clear. We went on a snorkeling trip and swam with green turtles and sharks.

After this we caught a night bus back to the west coast to go to Penang and then lankawi.

Now we are in Phuket and it is such a change from anything in Malaysia. The nightlife is just something else. Tranvestites walk the streets and pole dancers don every bar. We went to see the SImon Caberet which is a famous transvestite show which was brilliant and last night we went to a muai thai fight night!

Anyway we are off to the beach now, cant believe we only have 2 months left !!! xxxx
