So the last few days in Prague haven't disappointed.
Thankfully the weather has gotten cooler, so now you can at least stand in the shade without sweating (our room is still a sauna though).
We visited the Jewish quarter on Friday, which is a part of Prague that used to be a Jewish ghetto in the nazi regime. They were only given a tiny bit of land for their dead, and as the Jewish aren't allowed to cremate (part of their beliefs) they ended up pilling body, after body in a mass grave. Today you can visit it, and it's crazy how many tombstones there are in this small area, all crammed next to each other. There was only space for 1200 tombstones their, but there were over 100,000 bodies buried, all layered on top of each other. It was a very eerie experience.
That night went to a five storey nightclub, which was just immense. Each floor had a different type if music. In the basement there was an ice bar, where everything was made out if ice. We had to wear these poncho things inside, and if your order a drink it comes in a cup made of ice. Was such a fun experience. It really was freezing though!
Didn't end up home until 7.00am,
so yesterday we pretty much lay in bed recovering but headed for one last meal in 'clear head' - I am in love with restaurant, and it's all part of my plan to turn Ben vegetarian haha.
Off to Vienna today, after an eight hour journey we should be there.
