About 10 minutes after we were supposed to be collected by our minibus that was heading to the Cameron Highlands, we started asking questions and found out they had forgotten us! Luckily they hadn't got very far and came back! The 5 hour journey was uneventful, until we ascended into the highlands, where we were surrounded by stunning scenery, similar to how I imagine the Alps to be in summer. The Cameron Highlands are supposed to have the closest climate to England in the country, due to the altitude it was refreshingly cool, and unsurprisingly pouring with rain!
It was nice to chill out up in the mountains for a few days, we spent the time wandering around, taking advantage of our hostel's DVD collection and visiting the various tea plantations, strawberry farms and rose gardens!
