After a long journey and wait to get through immigration, we eventually made it back into rainy Malaysia and to the province of Penang. We took the ferry to Penang Island and stayed in Georgetown for a couple of nights. We spent the day exploring the town, and since it is famed for good Malay, Indian and Chinese food, we looked for a Chinese to satisfy Andrew's craving for one. Somehow we missed Chinatown completely and ended up at a tasty Indian, where you ate everything off a banana leaf. We had planned to look around a supposedly spectacular Chinese temple as well, but by the time we found it it had closed!
