We caught a local bus to Glasgow today, and we were a little underwhelmed by Glasgow city. It was very busy, a lot of road works and miserable weather, Sarah only took 47 photos so that's a good indicator of our enthusiasm! We stayed on the city bus but could not see anything we wanted to see again, so went shopping instead! We also had to get away from the Americans from hell, US cruise ship in town so as usual they've taken over! Had a bit if drama on the way...

Today we left Ireland and made our way to Scotland, the voyage on the ferry was much better than our first trip! Sarah was happy as we had complimentary food and wine. We had quite a long journey but the scenery was very picturesque. We arrived in Stirling around 5pm, but still managed to get out and see a bit of the town before it got to late.(Sarah managed to get 97 photos). Perfect weather for our bus trip to the most Northern tip of Ireland, we were so far North we got to see Scotland! We stopped of at Carrickfergus Castle, on the way North to the spectacular Carrick a Rede rope bridge. We hiked 1km to the bridge (well Sarah did) I fell short, she crossed the bridge and had an awesome view of the coast. Today we travelled from Dublin to Belfast it took about 2 hours, bit dicey in the cities, but once we got onto the motorway it was easier. We arrived at lunch time and hopped on a city bus tour, we could not get a seat up top, but it rained (lol) however we did join them eventually to get some better pictures. Today we travelled to Cork, on the way we stopped at Blarney Castle, we climbed the tower (105) steps! and Sarah kissed the Blarney Stone, I was the official photographer ( and I was still getting over the trauma of the spiral staircase).
