Today we were leaving Siem Reap for Bangkok. Ian was really sick so he and Lindsay ended up flying to Bangkok instead of coming on the 6-hour drive with us. The road along the way to the Thailand border was not sealed most of the way, so it was really bumpy. We made a few stops along the way but we made it to the boarder in really good time. Today we met in the lobby and we going to explore the city of Bangkok. Our first activity for the day was to take a long boat on one of the rivers and see the villages located along this canal network. Checked out of Coral Bay Beach Resort this morning to meet at the Grand Ville Hotel, which is located in Chinatown, not too far from Koh San Rd, in Bangkok. My flight left at 9am and arrived in Bangkok 1 hour later.
