I met the group in reception at 8.30am for our trip to Miyamjima, which is an island off Hiroshima. We caught a tram then a ferry out to the island. Once on the island we looked at the O-tori gate, Itsukushima Shrine and the Daishoin temple. These were amazing sights to see and the island as a whole was so beautiful.

Not wanting to take another cable car up a mountain I went with the girls and wondered through the village and tried the famous maple leaf shaped pancakes. They were delicious. We also had lunch at one of the local restaurants. We then decided to Iwanhuni to see a bridge. We caught a train to the village then a local bus out to the bridge. We wondered over the bridge, which we had to pay to cross then we had a look on the other side. It wasn't a very interesting bridge but Charlotte love's bridges so we'd though we'd check it out for a bit of a laugh. Emma, Charlotte and I then decided to go back into Hiroshima.

I met Emma and Charlotte later that day as they wanted to go to a Mexican restaurant but once we got there we found out that they didn't have an English menu so we ended up at an Italian restaurant. We then met the group at Starbucks and went to a bar. I didn't stay long as I was bored so I ended up leaving and going back to the guesthouse.
