Thu 12/4/12 So we headed to Zanzibar today, had to get a 5 min ferry in Dar, followed by a local 'Dalla-Dalla' (which luckily we got on private hire so were not packed in with locals and all our bags) and finally a 2hr fast ferry over to Zanzibar. We arrived in the afternoon and once we dropped our bags off (thankfully we got a free pick-up from the ferry or we would never have found the lodge) we went straight out on a Spice Tour. Wed 11/4/12 (Today) Wow it was difficult to get out of bed this morning, alarm went at 4:30am but since we lost an hr yesterday it mite as well have been 3:30am! We had to get on the road early as the traffic into Dar es Salaam can be really bad! We are more excited to get there for the free wifi they offer!! Had free internet before but not free wifi! If it wasn't our last night with our group we would be on it all night!lol.

Tue 10/4/12 Today was meant to be one of our longest days travelling (12hrs). Also we lost an hr going through the border to Tanzania. We slept most of the way.
