We arrived in Surfers Paradise and were taken to our hostl in style - in limo! It was a bit of an old scabby limo though! The hostel was really nice and we had our own little apartment, it was like being back at uni and we made the most of the sofa's and tv! After a short bus journey from Rainbow beach we arrived in Noosa, which is the most beautiful place. With reccomendations from Laura Spencer we hired a kayak and had a leisurely paddle down the river, we've both decided we're going to retire there when we're old and rich, as the riverside houses are amazing! From Townsville we made our way to Airlie Beach, where we were to start our sailing trip around the Whitsundays the following day.
