Alyson - Well Ju and myself had a wicked weekend at the festival we balgged our way into. We amused ourselves the first day as car park attendants by doing "comedy" pointing! Our efforts were appreciated by the general public who showed their appreciation by honking their horns, flashing their lights, hanging out their cars, giving us high fives!!!! Day 2 at work having enjoyed the festival all day previously was not so much fun, we had run out of energy so just spent five hours standing around. The festival was brilliant though and we saw some amazing bands. We saw Athlete, Queens of the stoneage, Bloc Party, The doves, the hilltop hoods and Moby - to name but a few! Anyway on Monday Emily came back to us. Yay. It was really cool to have her back and she had a brilliant time with her mum and Aunty Jane. We also got Katie back on Tuesday which is wicked - even though its not under the best circumstances we are selfihly glad to be the travelling 4 again. The first thing we did was have ourselves some surf lessons. As you can imagine we all looked pretty god damned hot in our wetsuits!! We weren't brilliant but i think we all manged to stand even if only for a mere second. Em did pretty well and i turned round once to see her surfing over the crest of a wave for a good few seconds before crashing head first into the sea. Good fun had by all - it helped we had lovely surf instructors who looked rather well endowed in their wetsuits, its a hard life we are leading! Julie left to go and meet her parents in Sydney last week, so we are back to 3 of us again. We have been making the most of the night life here and spending large amounts of our time lounging around on the gorgeous beaches in the sun. The others got to go whale watching (i was far too hung over to contemplate getting on a boat) and it sounds amazing. They saw numerous humpback whales breaching, jumping right out of the water right by their boat. Pretty cool. We have finally made the decision to leave this wicked town and head south, so we will keep you posted on our movements.
