Well today has been a most interesting day to say the least. We got to bed around midnight last night cause we knew we had to be up early today. However there was an extremely loud snorer and I was woken up around 3 for about an hour. Slightly frustrating but I was ready to go nonetheless at 5:30. Sad to leave Galway but onto new adventures! So here begins our long extravagant list of the intense traveling we have done and are currently doing right now. 6:30am we get on a train from Galway to Dublin when we arrive in Dublin we take a bus at 9:15 to Connelly station then hop on a train to Belfast at 9:35am which we made with seconds to spare. We arrive in Belfast at 11:30 and take a train from there to Larne at 12:20pm. On our way there, we decide why don't we just see if we can take the ferry today instead of waiting till tomorrow in the beautiful city of Larne (ha) Sooo we get to Larne around 2ish and wait around for the next ferry which isn't until 5:30pm. We grab some food and catch some of Wimbledon and before we knew it, it was time to begin our voyage on the ferry which was actually a really nice ship. The ferry took about 2 hours and at 7:30pm we arrive in Troon, Scotland! Now you make think that's all but that's just not the case. We get on a bus to take us from the harbor to the station where we find out we need to get to the other one so we take a taxi to the next station and immediately hop on the train to Glasgow. We arrive in Glasgow at 8:40 and board the train to Edinburgh and set out at 9:05. And that is where we are at the moment; on our way to our final destination after about 16 hours of ridiculous and extensive public transit. Holy hell I could use a beer or a bed... Either will do. But at any rate, glad to be in Scotland! It's pretty cool to see the sunset over the hills here. Tomorrow no travel and the beautiful Edinburgh castle which I'm told we can see from our hostel :) whew!
