Rosario is beautiful right now. Today is a bit cloudy but the picture in this post is a lot of what I've been seeing recently. Lots of the river, the sun, the sand... Rosario in summer is more gorgeous than I could have imagined.

I've had many firsts the past week:

-first New Year's celebration in the warmth, fireworks overhead and getting to step outside to enjoy them without freezing your ass off...

-first movie in Argentina/Rosario - Emi and I went to watch a French film that was pretty darn good

-first time sailing for Emi, and first time for me here in Argentina: we went sailing on the 2nd on a co-worker of Emi's boat and there was a big group of boats who went from the islands (las islas) on the river (Rio Parana) to the Monumento and watched fireworks from the boat

-first time kissing in the rain

-first time drinking chocolatada here

And many firsts yet to come. So far everything is wonderful. There have been busy days where we're going everywhere at once it seems like, but there have also been a lot of really nice relaxed days either in the sun or here in the apartment where we can just cook and talk and walk around the city. I am enjoying every moment.

I am so lucky to have this opportunity to be here and have the chance to relax a little bit... I am so lucky to be in warmth right now and to be enjoying time with people I enjoy spending time with very much.
