Having endured a procession of Japanese girls blow drying their hair by our room at gone midnight last night, we were a little worse for wear this morning. With the sort of determined attitude which makes Britain great, we were up with a sparrow's fart and headed for the train station. The 8.45 Bullet train whizzed us half the length of the country to Tokyo, where we are to spend tonight.
Our accommodation sits happily under the 'basic' bracket. Shared facilities and partitioned walls seperate our bunk beds from our neighbours. At our age we really shouldn't be subjected to this, and after tonight we are retiring. We have jolly nice hotels booked for the final days ahead.
Well, if you have managed to catch up yesterday's blog, you are no doubt itching to know how the second day of the World s***head Playoff Finals panned out? Its all tied up. Sue came from behind and slapped Phill with a salvo that would sink a battle ship. The best of seven games went her way, four to two, and the series is all square at one a piece. Place your bets on the message board.
So, we are out and about tonight, enjoying the free spirited sensation that can only be experienced when you have stashed four heavy bags in Tokyo' Station's luggage lockers. Freedom indeed.
