This is the first holiday that Pete & I had together and we found Turkey a most wonderful country to visit, the people were so friendly and the beaches and weather were just the best ! We stayed in Hisaronu, a short bus ride from the famous beach of Olu Deniz (shown on all the postcards of Turkey!). We alternated days, one day by the beach or poolside, the next on a day tour somewhere and this was a great way to spend the week that we were there for. I really loved the Turkish Mezes (food) and Efes (beer). We had a lovely Turkish Bath and oil massage, got a bit of a tan and generally just relaxed so much. We even went to a quiz night and won ! We also learned how to do the latest Turkish nightclub dances and bought a Tarkan CD too. Whilst drinking in the Fez Bar one night, we even briefly considered buying a house in Turkey 'cos they are so cheap (about £40k at the time).
