I finished work one Thursday evening about 7pm, went home and wondered what to do with my long weekend, since I had the coming Friday & Monday off work. Ringing LastMinute.com, I managed to get a long weekend holiday deal to Corfu, which meant packing my bags and leaving for the airport within the hour ! I made it to the airport, arrived in Corfu to scorching hot weather and had a wonderful weekend sunning myself and drinking lots of nice beer ! I met a lovely couple called Debbie & Mike, we still keep in touch by text messages now which is nice, one day they will probably come & visit me in Oz. I managed to get a couple of day tours in, which involved going out on boat trips to some of the Greek islands, including a part where they filmed the movie 'Blue Lagoon'. I found Greece to be a wonderful place and looked forward to returning the next year for the Olympic Games.
