Darren came over to visit me for Christmas, so we went sightseeing not only around England & Wales, but also to Belgium & Dublin. We had a fantastic time in Bruges, a beautiful town in Belgium and much nicer than what I had seen of Brussels before. There was so much snow everywhere, it was great to have a 'White Christmas' and see the festivities going on like ice skating in the town centre and carol singers. We did a pub crawl in a small square which had loads of pubs and I really loved the taste of their 'raspberry' beer. The christmas markets were really good and had so many different items for sale, so much better than what you see in the usual High Street shops !
