Woke up about 5, probably when we docked, and kind of dozed after that. yuk. Grey old Southampton docks and the gasworks outside the window. Not the most attractive vista for arriving overseas passengers!!! Australians who got on in Sydney must be a bit worried at this point. Still at least the sun came out and it was actually a nice blue day if a little bit chilly. So, had breakfast and then sat in on of the lounges waiting to be called for disembarkation....

Our last day at sea and although briskly windy, roughing up the sea, the sun was lovely and warm. We managed to sit out for a good amount of time just in our t shirts. We went to the cinema again this morning to see 100 Step Journey which we've seen before. Such a lovely film,, very feel good. It marries together India, France and Food, so really….. Woke up feeling a bit grim! Something had really upset my tum. Surely not the yummy prawns or the creamed cabbage!!!!! Well, what a lovely surprise Ponta Delgada was and the whole island of San Miguel, Azores. We had very little expectation of the place really, thinking it would be much like Cape Verde, a bit run down…. Slightly seedy. Not at all.
