Iceland day 4 - Wow folks, just wow. I knew that today was going to be a good one, but man...Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, you just blew my mind. Unreal. And the fact that we were the only ones there at 7am (even if I had to literally drag everyone out of bed) certainly didn't hurt. It was so inconceivably quiet. You could actually hear the ice calving from the glacier. We sat and stared at the huge chunks of blue, blue ice floating calmly past. The chunks head out to the ocean, and when they wash up on the black sand beach, they look like pieces of glass. We meandered up and down the beach, chased by waves rolling in and trying to catch us as we strayed a bit too close to the sea.
