After the excitment of the gorillas the next two days were basically spent on the truck heading across Uganda.

A lot of the scenery was spectacular keeping us amused until we reached a small town where we stopped for provisions before setting up camp to the sounds of election campaigning.

The next day we were on the road again stopping for lucnh at the side of the road for some amazing chicken at a ridulousy cheap price - and no one was ill afterwards! We the headed to the Equator - my first land crossing - marked by large concrete circles and lots of shops! Didn't stop to do the water in the bucket trick as we wanted to get across Kampala before we were completely in rush hour. Our campsite for the night was on the outskirts of Kampala and had a nice pool with lots of college students in!

We had a late night chatting to some expats and tourists after a good meal but lots of flies!
