Lots done in this area using Plett as a base. I really liked the vibe here and the 5 beautiful sandy beaches and good food certainly helped.
So in no particular order:
I walked the length of Robberg beach (stunning)
Watched 4 rugby matches with my host family - they won't let me play for any of my food or drinks during the games
Went to Monkeyland (good), Birds of Eden (good), The Crags elephant sanctuary (OK), Lawnwood snake sanctuary (good), Old Nics Market (OK - better if I had wanted to buy loads of stuff!), Natures Valley (lovely), Storms River Mouth (should have been dramatic and stunning but serious mist) Lunch at the Fat Fish - gorgeous prawns and Kob.
The best part though was staying with Johan and Theresa and their children Orla, Ava and Enya. I felt like a family friend and they spoilt me rotten with food, wine and conversation!
Short journey to Oudtshoorn in the rain :( arriving at Lodge 96 to met Matt and the 2 labs Whitey and Seren who we took for a walk around the rugby pitch!
