I can clearly see why everyone goes to see the Taj Mahal. It is too beautiful for words and when there it feels magical.
I decided to go at sunset as I was tole when the sun goes up ir down it completely changes the colour of the building and due to the bad bus ride I knew I was incapable of getting up at dawn. So after checking out and having a relaxed day Daniella my English friend and I walked down from our hostel to the Taj.
After getting security checked we walked through the main building which then opened up to the stunning view of the Taj Mahal a symmetrical hand carved marble building built over 22 years with the help if 20,000 people for a Shah Jahan's wife. He who took control over the Murgal Empire throne in 1628 and was in love with the queen (his wife) who died during child birth so built then as a tomb. Then after building it he was imprisoned by his son in a place overlooking the Taj Mahal, Agra fort and then released then after he died, he was buried in the Taj Mahal beside his wife. It truly is a wonder of the world and is definately worth a visit to Agra for it.
After taking many pictures and touring the inside we found the famous bench this Princess Diana sat when she went to visit the tomb.
It was very busy but you could see why. When the sun set the Marble glowed orange on one side it truly was a sight.
I am so glad I came to Agra and visited it it was the highlight of India.
Next I am getting a sleeper 3rd class A/C train to Varanassi taking 12 hours so first time experiencing the sleeper trains.

Mum Stanley Your photo of the Taj Mahal is better than the picture in the Indian Restaurant we ate in last night. The place looks stunning and you must be so glad you decided to bite the bullet and go. Happy travelling.
