Im afraid this is going to be a 50% rant blog as its been a tough couple of days. At a guess as it was the only thing I hadn't shared with Daniella I believe the chicken sandwich gave me food poisoning. So after a sleepless messy night (I wont give details) I was extremely tired, unwell and grouchy. We checked out of the hostel and went to find somewhere for breakfast. Due to my dodgy tummy i decided to stick to toast hoping it would stay down....i dont know how you can get toast so wrong. First they came out about 10minutes after Daniellas omelette with the toast and a plate if melted butter and a spoon then when I said it eas wrong they bought me a knife then finally some unmelted butter with bits if dirt in. I was not happy. Still feeling unwell we booked our train ticket for Agra but I was grouchy and ended up having an argument with the train man, then I went to use WiFi at the hostel alone but the WiFi wasn't working in the shoddy hostel so I had argument with the owner and stormed out. We finally got on the 12 hour bus and found it was the worst journey so far as we were at the back and the coach had no suspension (I believe the bus man did it on purpose) it was also so loud, I've found India to be so noisy all of the time and it unnecessary noise like horns for no reason or music which is louder than it needs to be. I also found chocolate bourbon biscuits which made me very excited and thought it could brighten a bad day....but they don't taste the same so Udaipur ended on a low.
Agra started well after getting if the bus the hostel us really nice for the equivalent price of about £2.50 a night. The Taj Mahal is closed on a Friday for prayers so we booked out train tickets to Varanassi which is our next destination and found a friendly rickshaw driver to do a tour he showed us an intricate tomb of a family and a stunning view if the Taj Mahal. He also let us try and drive a rickshaw...so much fun and very scary Ive got to say I used the horn a lot in my driving experience! We then had a really filling dinner of egg fried rice and dam aloo which is a potato curry filled with paneer cheese it was good but still doesn't beat our favourite meal in India so far in Jodhpur. Now we are watching And Indian soap and then Indian masterchef but as there are no subtitles we have to go on facial expressions. Indian actors and actresses tend to have a set list of over exaggerated facial expressions they all stick to like- shocked face and :scared face and evil face and :raised eyebrow face.
Inventory: 58%
Belly: 12% after violent sickness from food poisoning. Now in Agra- 71% getting there.
Taj Mahal tomorrow!

Mum Stanley Alice in a temper is not a pretty sight. Alice ill tired hungry and in a bad mood, I can't even go there. Agra sounds more promising. Take lots of photos and lay off the chicken sandwiches. Lots of hugs.
Sunil It seems that you are staying in hostels which are costing very low and trying to eat the food which is also very low cost. You get what you pay. Dont expect paying peanut and enjoying dryfruit. ndia is no where cheaper if you compare apple to apple . I mean if you want the same level of hygine and service what you get in your country then you have to pay similar amount .
