Christmas has a nasty habit of creaping up on you when you least expect it. One moment it's only October and your silently cursing the shops for playing Jingle Bells already, then the next thing you know, it's upon you before you've had a chance to send all your cards and buy all the presents! Ar well. This'll be my first Christmas away from home so in some ways it's exciting, in others it's the time of year that you're constantly reminded of the things you'd be traditonally doing at home, like buying the tree and trying to think of an original gift for the cat....oh, just me then. Anyway, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, those hardcore people who still bother to check my site : ) Have a good one and overinduldge in every way possible. This week for me consists mainly of last minute shopping, rehearsals, parties and trying my hardest to not get flattened by pine trees that have all decided to take a suicidal plunge to the ground following the many storms that have decided to batter the British Columbia coast line. It seems I have brough some freak weather with me, I'm told this is usually a passive time of year but blackout are becoming a regular occurence in these parts. There is one thing however that's starting to bug me; people can tell that I'm not from these parts, but I keep being accused of being an Australian!! I think we can all agree that a British accent is vastly different from an Australian one...?! I mean it's not as though I'm going around saying ''G'day! How's it going? The names Bruce". If I was it'd be perfectly understandable...
