We bought Baz bus tickets which allow us to go pretty much anywhere in SA for a fixed price, so we hopped on and headed over towards Nelspruit, where we were hoping to meet some friends of the Miall clan, Nikki and Pete, but unfortunatly we got off the bus about 100km too far, oops. The local backpackers was great though, mainly because of the guy who worked there - Jimmy, who hooked us up with the perfect safari vehicle (see photos) and lent us a tent, some book...

We arrived at Jo'burg airport and caught a taxi to a part called Yeoville to stay in a guesthouse called '2BHappy' - which we were of course! Driving past the shopping malls and supermarkets was so exciting (for me anyway, Jack just rolled his eyes), and I planned in my head all the shiny things I was going to buy. It was so nice to stay in a place that was a house, where we could cook in the kitchen and watch crappy TV. Ah the delights of the Western World. Need...
