We took a bus from Maputo to Swaziland and stayed at a place called 'Legends Backpackers' (well it had to be good surely!?) for 5 days - more than enough time to sample the smallest country in the southern hemisphere i.e Swaziland. No seriously, after two days, we'd done pretty much everything there was to do.
We travelled to both capital cities in one day, visited a cultural village (Jack had to dance with tribes people ahahaha), went walking in a nature reserve, visited the swazi museum and saw where the old King was buried. The rest of the time involved Jack spending time with his one true love - his PSP, and me getting all excited about what to cook in our very own kitchen. Who'da thought travelling could be this exotic and adventurous ay!?
We saved the best for last though, and went white water rafting on Saturday with a few other thrill seeking folks. Being that the river was in fact mostly about 2 inches deep and we saw not one crocodile, it was still pretty fun and a good way to see the amazing scenery. All the mountains and waterfalls and fields were so beautiful, made even better by the shining sun... sorry, those sitting in a blizzard right now I do apologise. You got the earthquake at least, woooo!
