hello from Koh samui!

My plans went a bit crazy getting here but I did make it and have had a great couple of days. I met some awesome lads in Phi Phi who were going to travel there with me but they kept postponing and eventually said they were flying so Rob and I decided to go it alone. Unfotunately Rob only has limited days left in Thailand and felt a whole day of travel to Samui wasn't worth it for him.

So instead, he and I travelled to Krabi on the mainland and stayed a night in a very plush hotel with pool and many families on holiday which made a bit of a change.

On the boat to Krabi I saw Will from Uni which was so odd, there must have been a one in amillion chance of knowing anyone on that boat. Was fantastic to catch up.

Krabi's nightlife was good but there were loads more Thai girls trying to sell themselves than anywhere else I've been.

We had a really good night out (despite the fuse going in the room making an expoloding sound and blowing apart Rob's phone charger!). In the morning I took a mini-bus, then a coach and finally a ferry accross to Koh Samui. Met some good irish lads on the boat but forgot to get their contact details.

Eventually found a place to stay avoiding all the cons and tricks by the Thai people and found the irish boys in the same hotel- bizarre considering there's about a million places to stay.

Had 2 wicked nights out witht he Irish, meals on the beach and lots of booze. Noticed that gradually everyone was leaving samui though making the journey to Phangan for the Full Moon Party, so I too made the trip.
