Ali's Travels
17th May 2005
Today we caught the bus the Puno, which is inland and set on the edge of Lake Titicaca. The highest town we stay in at 3830m. The bus ride took just over 6 hours and the more in land you go the more the scenery remainds me of the highlands of Scotland, even the Peruvians called this area the Highlands!
Although the town itself is not as nice as Arequipa! More back to how we've known it, run down and lots of dogs on the streets, and bloody cold at night!
We met up with an American couple, Ben and Alarna, whom we ended up staying at the same hostel as and so we went out for dinner with them. Again Lovely people.
